#CashforVote scam: Court asks cops to probe AP CM Chandrababu Naidu's alleged role

NEWSPAPERS HEADLINES:
Most newspapers have prominently mentioned Prime Minister Modi's comments on Kashmir in his monthly Mann ki Baat radio broadcast. "PM warns troublemakers on 'using kids' in Kashmir" is the Hindustan Times headlines. The Hindu headline reads "PM pitches for compassion and unity to end Kashmir crisis". Meanwhile, the Statesman front page story reports that home minister Rajnath Singh may lead an all party team to Kashmir on 3rd September.
In a related story, the Asian Age reports that the Centre is working on a Rs 2000 crore package for PoK refugees. Over 36000 families from PoK, Gilgit and Baltistan living in India as refugees may get around Rs 5.5 lacs each.
Another story that finds prominent mention on the front pages of most dailies is the successful test-firing of the scramjet engine by ISRO. The Asian Age leads with this news and calls the Scramjet a big success that will reduce the cost of rocket launch.
The Times of India lead story reports that "50% of states are likely to give nod to GST by September". The winter session of parliament may be held early to pass linked bills, the paper adds.
The Pioneer reports that the 15 lac diesel heavy vehicles older than 15 years will soon be junked. The draft vehicle scrapping policy is in the final stage, adds the paper.
And finally, the Maharashtra government acknowledges that an eye in the sky is better than several feet on the ground. It has deployed drones for the first time on the accident-prone Mumbai-Pune Expressway to stop wayward drivers in their tracks, reports the Hindu.
