Oregon Ducks In The NFL: Geoff Schwartz Cut By Detroit Lions
Offensive Lineman Geoff Schwartz is looking for a new NFL home after being cut by the Detroit Lions on Monday.

The word that comes to mind with Geoff Schwartz is Journeyman. He started his career in the National Football League with the Carolina Panthers. Since 2008 has seen a total of six homes, most recently with the Detroit Lions and the New York Giants. Injuries have been a major concern for Schwartz, especially when it came to playing time. His durabilityhas become a question, which is usually not a good sign for an Offensive Lineman.
The former Oregon Duck has been healthy in 2016, but did not play this past weekend against Baltimore due to a fairly common reason. It came down to numbers according to the Detroit Free Press.

Schwartz found success in 2015 with the New York Giants, Starting 11 games before a broken leg ended his season. According to his Twitter Profile, he keeps himself busy outside of football, with a Podcast, and claims to be a good cook.
With his NFL Experience he should be picked up by someone for the upcoming season. There is one week left to go in the NFL Preseason.
