Mo Williams has been a part of many highs and lows during his 13-year NBA career, but the veteran guard isn't ready to end his time in the league just yet.

Williams tweeted Wednesday that he's ready to give it at least one more go:

Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com reported on Aug. 27 was considering retirement at the age of 33.

Williams came back to Cleveland last summer, signing a two-year deal with the Cavaliers in July. He appeared in 41 games with the team during the 2015-16 season and played just under five minutes in the decisive Game 7 of the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors.

In June, Williams exercised the $2.2 million player option in his contract for next season.

However, Vardon did note a potential loophole the Cavaliers can work around with Williams' salary. The NBA's stretch deadline is on August 31, meaning if a player is waived before that date, a team can spread out the money he is owed over a number of years. That would lower the luxury-tax penalties the Cavaliers have already incurred.

Cleveland's payroll for next season is currently $115.2 million, per HoopsHype, and that doesn't include the possibility of re-signing J.R. Smith. The NBA's luxury-tax threshold for next season is $113.3 million, so the Cavs are already paying a penalty.

Williams was essentially a specialist for the Cavaliers. He can still shoot the three, hitting 35.3 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc last season, but he wasn't playing enough to make a significant difference for the team.
