Police are investigating two shootings that took place Wednesday night in Baltimore. Officers were called to the 1700 block of Hartsdale Road for a reported shooting, and then within 20 minutes, to another on Hillview Road.Police said the victim in the Hillview shooting died after being shot in the chest. Police identified the man Thursday as 25-year-old Kristopher Pompey.When officers arrived to the scene along Hartsdale Road, they located a male victim with a gunshot wound to his chest. The victim was taken to a hospital and treated. A social media account incorrectly reported that it happened at Morgan State University and reported that the victim was a student.Get the WBAL-TV News App
