Following a report last week that Dion Jordan appeared healthy and ready to get back on the field, it appears he will get his wish. He was reinstated to the NFL on Friday and now the work begins for the former first round draft pick.

Jordan has had his share of bad decisions in his NFL Career, including several bouts with substance abuse, which got him a season long suspension before last season. ESPN points out that in all he has three suspensions, but also has three sacks in his time in the NFL, not a very good start, but now he will have the chance to turn things around.

The Miami Dolphins have already looked past Dion Jordan and have moved on without him at the Defensive End Position. It is almost as if they considered him a mistake with the high amount of talent they now have. Cameron Wake and Mario Williams will look to anchor the position in 2016 as the Dolphins Defense could become one of the most improved units in the NFL.

Dion Jordan has work ahead of him and needs to prove he should be on the field in 2016. Of course, if he shows up in Fall Camp, he could be a nice addition for an already loaded Defense, or if he is cut he can hope that his Preseason film could get him a look elsewhere for the upcoming season.
