Last week, we noticed a new teaser page on Compile Heart's website. When we first reported on the existence of the site, Neptune was the page's background image. As the countdown drew closer, a new Compile Heart character appeared every day. Today, a teaser trailer for Compile Heart's next project has surfaced and it explains why we've seen all the different characters. This is Nep-Nep Connect: Chaos Chanpuru, and it's coming to Japanese Vita systems later this year.
Nep-Nep Connect will be a free to play card game on PlayStation Vita, similar to Blizzard's Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. Little about the game itself is actually known, but the teaser video does show off a significant portion of Compile Heart's characters, so there's a good chance this will likely be a mash-up title that just happens to feature Nep in the title.
Whether the card battles take place in Gamindustri or for control of the realm that CPUs in Neptunia are constantly fighting for remains to be seen. What we do know is Nep-Nep Connect: Chaos Chanpuru is a free to play card game and it will be launching on PlayStation Vita systems in Japan later this year. Plans to localize or port the title to PC or other platforms haven't been announced yet.
