It's almost time for a new Xenoverse, which means new transformations to visually represent new power levels that make nine thousand look like child's play. The game's not due out until October, but it's never too early to begin your training. Today's new transformation trailer from Bandai Namco shows off some of what the time patrollers will have to overcome during their quest to preserve the history of the Dragon Ball universe.
We already knew Super Saiyan 3 was coming, but we didn't see the Flying Nimbus. The trailer shows a female avatar using both Goku's childhood transportation and what looks like either his power pole or a very close replica. We also see a Frieza race character using the golden transformation from Dragon Ball Super and Majin Buu changing color from pink to blue. These new transformations beg the question of whether Super Saiyan 3 will be enough or if Saiyan characters will be able to ascend to the level of Super Saiyan God.
The answer to this question, along with many more pressing questions surrounding the shadow of chaos looming over Dragon Ball's timeline will be answered October 25 when Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 powers up PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems in North America. PC gamers and Europe will be able to unleash their Kaio Ken starting October 28.
