PHILADELPHIA — The president of an organization exposed for harvesting the parts of aborted fetuses called Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s worldview “disturbing” in a speech at the Democratic National Convention Tuesday.

Cecile Richards, president of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, spoke ahead of former President Bill Clinton in support of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s extreme pro-abortion stance, applauding her defense of a woman’s “right” to end the life of an unborn child.

“Donald Trump has pledged to appoint justices who will overturn Roe v. Wade and undo decades of progress,” Richards told a cheering crowd. “His policies aren’t just frightening, they’re rooted in a disturbing worldview.”

Americans were shocked, even disturbed, last summer when the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) released a series of videos in which top Planned Parenthood doctors discuss the best way to abort a fetus so that its parts can be frozen and shipped to scientists for research.

“I’d say a lot of people want liver,” Dr. Deborah Nucatola, PPFA Senior Director of Medical Services, tells actors posing as buyers from a human biologics company in the video, while munching on a salad and sipping a glass of wine. “And for that reason, most providers will do this case under ultrasound guidance, so they’ll know where they’re putting their forceps.” (RELATED: Nearly 1 In 3 Abortions Happen At Planned Parenthood ‘Health Clinics’)

CMP won a lengthy legal battle over the videos Tuesday morning, when all charges brought against CMP director David Daleiden in Texas related to the undercover footage were dropped.
