Chicago White Sox ace Chris Sale was sent home — on a day he was scheduled to pitch — and suspended for five games, after cutting up White Sox throwback jerseys because he hated them. One of the weirdest, funniest sport stories in quite some time.

Very well done, sir.

Also from this game: Melky Cabrera robbed Kris Bryant of a dinger.
