Growing up, some may have fantasized what it may have been like if someone else was their mother or father, the cast and creators of “iZombie” have their own dream dads they’d like to see cast.

“We never met Ravi’s father and if possible I think I would like to that to be Sir Ben Kingsley,” said Rahul Kohli who plays Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti on the hit CW television series loosely based on the comic book created by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred. The comic is published by DC Comics under their Vertigo imprint.

Bill Murray would be Rose McIver’s pick for her character, Liv Moore, she said.

“How great would that be, right?” she laughed.

Kohli and McIver along with fellow co-stars and creators were at Comic-Con International Friday to promote season three of the show.

Father fantasies aside, they revealed season three could have Liv choosing sides.

At the end of season two, Liv learns that zombies “live” outside of Seattle and they could be gearing up for all-out war against humanity, if need be, according to creators Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright.

But that doesn’t mean Liv and police partner Clive Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) won’t continue solving homicides in the city, assured Ruggiero-Wright.

“Since Clive knows her secret, there may be a little change in the dynamic and they both work to keep the secret hidden while solving the crime of the week,” she said.

That means Liv will continue to consume the brains of murder victims giving her some of their memories and in turn helping solve their cases.

“We have some fun things lined up,” said McIver. Next season, one of the brains she will be eating once belonged to a dominatrix.

“I’m really interested in seeing how she prepares it because it always links to the person in some way,” she said. “Maybe like licorice ropes?” Liv and former fiance and current zombie, Major Lilywhite, (Robert Buckley) each eat the brains of a father and daughter.

“I’m the father and he’s the angsty teenage daughter so that will be a lot of fun,” she said.
