Storms knock out power to more than 10,000

Strong storms knock out power to thousands in state, more severe weather expected later this evening

MILWAUKEE -- A band of severe thunderstorms ripped through South eastern Wisconsin, knocking power out for more than 10,000 customers in the area.

The official count of those without power is 10,281 across the state as of 6 pm, according to WE Energies statistics.
