Vegas Odds: Oregon Ducks A Long Shot at 40-1 For National Championship

Las Vegas Odds currently mark the Oregon Ducks as a long shot to make the National Championship Game, but a surprising team is getting the bets.

If the world according to Las Vegas was an actual thing, there would not be many fans in the seats at Autzen Stadium this year, not with 40-1 Odds at the National Championship game. The Media put the Oregon Ducks as the third place team in the Pac-12 North, behind even Washington, who also comes in at 40-1 from the Westgate Las Vegas Sportsbook. Other teams in the Pac-12 Conference are on the list.

The USC Trojans are 60-1 favorites where the Stanford Cardinal have the best shot at 20-1 entering the 2016 campaign. Several others are not as fortunate. The Arizona schools are in a clear rebuilding phase. Arizona State is set at 100-1. The Sundevils are not looking so good at 300-1. The UCLA Bruins, who many see as the leaders of the Pac-12 South are set at 30-1.

The shift for the National Championship, according to Las Vegas, the bets shift to the Big Ten and Michigan over Ohio State making the Championship Game. Of course, Alabama and Clemson are there as well, but Jim Harbaugh may have a good thing going entering the season.
