Samsung fans are looking forward to the Galaxy Note 7 that is coming out on August 2. But the rumor mill is already building up excitement for the next year’s Galaxy S8. Folks at TechRadar have released a Galaxy S8 concept that will actually make you want to buy the phone when it comes out. However, Samsung may have its own plans for its flagship device instead of taking inspiration from concept designs.
This concept device creates ‘authentic 3D surround sound’
While creating the concept video, TechRadar took into account the features that would make it a world-beating phone. They also borrowed a few features from the previous generations of the Galaxy S line and considered the futuristic technology that could be here by early next year. And the resulting render is nothing less than stunning.
The render sports a flush dual camera setup on the back for enhanced image quality, especially in low-light conditions. There is also a swipeable rear button right below the dual camera setup. The speakers at the top and bottom of the phone could create authentic 3D surround sound experience. TechRadar also expects the Galaxy S8 to feature a USB Type-C connector.
Will Galaxy S8 be flexible enough to bend in your pocket?
The concept phone features infinite edge curved screen with absolutely no bezels. The home button, fingerprint sensor and other sensors are embedded in the screen itself. It has a flexible glass body that can bend in your pocket. Recent rumors suggest that the Galaxy S8 is likely to sport a new Corning Gorilla Glass 5 that can survive a 1.6-meter drop on a rough surface more than 80% of the time.
Folks at TechRadar imagine the device with a 4K display for enhanced Gear VR experience. Other rumors have also pointed to a 4K UHD display with 2160 x 3840 resolution. Samsung launches a new Galaxy S device at the Mobile World Congress every year. The next MWC is set to take place between February 27 and March 2, 2017 in Barcelona. The Galaxy S8 is rumored to include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 830 processor.
