Oregon Basketball: Dylan Ennis Granted Sixth Year Of Eligibility
It may have taken a little longer than expected, but the NCAA gave the Oregon Ducks some good news concerning Dylan Ennis on Thursday.

The Oregon Ducks have been finished playing basketball for the better part of two months when the season came to a close against Oklahoma State. The NBA Draft came and went and Oregon will have everyone back, that was eligible, from last season. Tyler Dorsey and Dillon Brooks will be joined by Dylan Ennis, the transfer from Villanova last season who spent most of the year out with a foot injury.
Ennis brought passion to the Oregon Ducks Bench that had not been seen in a very long time. He played on one game, against Oregon State where he re-aggrivated the foot injury. He said before the season was over he would petition the NCAA for a sixth season and it was granted on Thursday.

His sixth season of eligibility was granted “based upon the totality of the circumstances and student-athlete well-being,” according to GoDucks.com. At Villanova, Ennis was a force leading the Wildcats deep into the NCAA Tournament in 2014 before he transferred to Oregon.
The Oregon Ducks were already in the conversation to get back to the NCAA Tournament in 2016. With Ennis returning, expect that hype to have an exclamation point. He not only adds his talent, but also gives Oregon some depth.
Ennis is pursuing a Graduate Degree from the University of Oregon.
