Like many iconic silver screen pairs before them, the blond beauty and her hunky counterpart first got to know each other on the set of The Green Lantern in 2010. There was only one catch—each were already in relationships with other people.
"We went on a double date. She was on a date with another guy and I was on a date with another girl," he described during an interview on Entertainment Weekly's SiriusXM show. "That was the most awkward date for their respective probably because we were just like fireworks coming across," Reynolds revealed, laughing. "It was weird at first but we were buddies for a long time. I think it's the best way to have a relationship is to start as friends."
Needless to say, those other relationships didn't last for long as the pair later became an official item and ultimately wed in September 2012.
The duo instantly became a favored sighting on red carpets and at celebrity-fueled events, their picture-perfect fashion and modelesque looks making them the focus of every photographer's lens.
Beyond their stunning outer shells, they always sounded like a couple madly in love and deeply devoted to making the other better. Now, they're on the heels of their second pregnancy and focused on what matters most—their family unit.
"We'd love to have a big family. We both come from big families—my parents did four, Blake's did five. A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know?" the actor dished to Details magazine. "We'll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think."
