Luann de Lesseps isn't holding anything back when it comes to her fellow The Real Housewives of New York City cast mates. Not after the way they came for her at Dorinda Medley's home in the Berkshires last week.
The Countess sat down with E! News' Erin Lim for an illuminating chat about all things RHONY and, in light of the verbal smackdown she received on national television, she was not shy about her true feelings about Bethenny Frankel or Ramona Singer. That holiday party from hell may have taken place last December, but its clear the wounds are still fresh (or, at least, have been opened anew) for Luann.
Here's just a smattering of the choice words the reality star has for her costars.
On Bethenny calling her a hypocrite during her rant at Dorinda's: "She calls me a hypocrite, but really she's the hypocrite. I'm the one getting married, I'm engaged, and Bethenny's still trying to get a divorce. You know, it was in the Daily Mail...she's dating married men, not me." (Bethenny's divorce from Jason Hoppy is still ongoing. She was recently photographed holding hands with banker Dennis Shields, who is currently separated from his wife Jill.)
On where she believes Bethenny's anger towards her comes from: "I think that Bethenny loves drama and I think that she's happiest when she's bickering. I have no idea. I think there's a lot of anger there. I think that, you know, she's still trying to get divorced and that might have something to do with it. It seems like she's really tightly wound and, you know, looks like she needs a vacation."
On Ramona's claims that she dated Luann's fiance Tom D'Agostino Jr. first: "Ramona would've loved to date Tom. Ramona is a friend of Tom's. They went out a couple times for dinner and there was no interest there. So when Ramona says, 'I dated Tom. You stole Tom!' She has been trying to date Tom and the truth is that, Tom and I, since we've met, have been inseparable. He's been getting texts from Ramona when I first met him. So, they're friends. They're not dating."
On why attacks on Sonja Morgan's drinking habits by the other ladies are hypocritical: "I think that people exaggerate. I think that people also don't look at themselves. It's easy to point your finger at other people. God knows Ramona's got an intravenous of Pinot going on. You know, Bethenny is selling alcohol. Dorinda loves her martinis, her dirty martinis. All of us like to go out and have a good time and party, and I think there is an extra amount of stress on Sonja by calling her out on her ways. And by the way, Sonja's completely quit drinking."
