Autumn Hays won two events and the Santa Cruz Longboard Union repeated as champion of its club invitational at Steamer Lane and Cowell Beach on Sunday.

Hays won the Women’s Open Shortboard and Junior Women 19-and-under divisions to help SCLU finish with 2,250 points. San Diego’s Windansea Surf Club (1,590) took second, Pedro Point Surf Club (1,560) was third and Big Stick Surfing Association (1,000) was fourth in the 16-team event.

SCLU’s Paul Steinberg won the Men’s 20-29 division, posting the highest wave score of the event, 19 out of 20.

BSSA’s Cris Radich (Grand Master Women, 50-59) also earned a win and SCLU’s Kim McCready was third.

SCLU’s Matt Micuda (Grand Master Men, 50-59) and Rym Partridge (Grand Legends Men, 70-and-older) also earned wins. Partridge beat out teammate Chuck Reed and four out-of-towners in his final heat.

Partridge’s daughters also shined. Sierra Partridge was the Women’s 20-29 champion and her sister, Hailey, took third in the division.

SCLU president Jane McKenzie won the Legends Wome 60-and-older division. Her teammate Cindy Futch took second.

SCLU’s Keanna Miller won the Menehune Girls division and teammate Carson Cook was champion of the Push In division. Pedro Point’s Samera Cortazzo, who lives in Santa Cruz, was second and SCLU’s Kaikora Nauenberg was third.

SCLU’s Ben Coffey took fifth in the Junior Men division and his younger brother, Sam, took sixth.

Titans on TV >> The Titans of Mavericks big wave surfing event will premiere Monday during a 90-minute prime-time special. It will air on FOX Sports, FS1 and other FOX affiliated networks at 5 p.m.

Disc golf

Doss ties for second in Seaside >> Richard Wysocki of Fort Mill, S.C., rallied to win the St. Jude Disc Golf Charity Invitational in Seaside, firing a final-round 60 for a 15-under-par 177 total.

Nate Doss, a Capitola native and Soquel High alum, and Jared Roan of Highlands Ranch, Colo., tied for second at 178. Roan closed with 60 while Doss, who lives in Bend. Ore., shot 62.

It was a productive trip to California for Wysocki, who also won the 31st annual “Steady” Ed Memorial Masters Cup at DeLaveaga Golf Course in Santa Cruz the previous weekend.

Wysocki won $1,800 for his finish in Seaside. Doss, and Roan each won $1,150.

Watsonville’s Myles Harding tied for 35th with a 15-over 207 total.

Scotts Valley’s Jonathan Baldwin took fourth in the Masters division with a 6-over 198 total, earning $600. Freedom’s Don Smith (199) was fifth and Scotts Valley’s Tim Messer (205) took ninth.

Capitola’s Thomas Tomaselli (192) tied for eighth in the Advanced division.

Santa Cruz’s Schuyler Raine-Mustain (186) took second in the Advanced Masters division.

Watsonville’s Richard Puente (223) was sixth in the Advanced Grandmasters division.

Motor sports

Webb takes second in Austria >> Watsonville’s Cody Webb took second to Great Britain’s Graham Jarvis at the Red Bull Hare Scramble 2016 in Eisenerz, Austria.

Jarvis finished the grueling race in 2 hours, 18 minutes and 47 seconds. Webb finished 33:07 later. Spain’s Alfredo Gómez finished third, 36:02 back.

Cycling

MacKinnon races to fourth >> Soquel High grad Kiran MacKinnon took fourth place at the ProGRT downhill mountain biking event at Mountain Creek in Vernon, N.J., with a time of 2 minutes. 5 seconds. World-champion rider Aaron Gwin finished first in 2:01.

Mountain Creek is the second of the seven-race Pro Gravity Tour series. The next stop is Angel Fire, N.M., on June 26.

Pro baseball

Carle gets no-decision >> Shane Carle, a right-handed starting pitcher out of Santa Cruz, exited with the lead, but was credited with a no-decision as the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes lost 6-4 to the host Iowa Cubs in the teams’ Pacific Coast League game.

Carle, a Scotts Valley alum, allowed two runs on five hits in six innings. He struck out three batters and didn’t walk any hitters.

McGehee gets two hits in win >> Santa Cruz native Casey McGehee was 2-for-4 as Triple-A Toledo rallied to beat visiting Buffalo 3-2 in the teams’ International League game.

McGehee, a Soquel alum, raised his season batting average to .298 with his fourth multiple-hit game in the past five games.

Women’s golf

Brumbaugh takes 51st in Boston >> Jennifer Brumbaugh, a Scotts Valley High and San Jose State alumna, closed with 74 for a 4-over-par 217 total at the Symetra Tour’s W.B. Mason Championship in Brockton, Mass. She had three birdies and six bogeys in the final round to tie for 51st place.

Men’s golf

Larson wins DeLa Stroke-Play Championship >> Santa Cruz’s Jonny Larson shot 68 to win the DeLa Stroke-Play Championship at DeLaveaga Golf Course. Santa Cruz’s Ryker Barnes (69) was second and fellow Santa Cruzan John Astin (70) was third.

Santa Cruz’s Dino Pizarro (66), who carries an 8.6 index, won the first flight

Capitola’s Jimmy Cook (65), who has a 16.8 index, won the second flight and Santa Cruz’s Dean Mazzei (62), who has a 20.1 index, won the third flight.

Crampton shoots 77 at NCAA Championship >> Cal sophomore Seb Crampton, a former Aptos and Soquel resident, shot 7-over-par 77 for an 11-over 221 total at the NCAA Division I individual championship at Eugene Country Club in Oregon. The final round is Monday.

Crampton had two birdies, six bogeys and two double bogeys in his third round.

Oregon’s Aaron Wise, the 2016 Western Intercollegiate second-place finisher in Santa Cruz, shot a 6-under 64 and leads at 6-under 204.

Junior golf

Vu takes 34th in Brentwood >> Santa Cruz’s Bradley Vu tied for 34th at the Junior Tour of Northern California’s Spring Series VII in Brentwood.

Vu shot 74 at Deer Ridge Golf Club and 75 at Shadow Lakes Golf Club for a 7-over-par 149 total in the field of 185 players.
