If tournament bids are the criterion of choice, the Pac-12 had an outstanding season in 2015-16. The league put seven teams into the NCAA tournament: Oregon, Utah, California, Arizona, Oregon State, USC and Colorado. It marked the Pac-12's best such performance "ever" (the league assumed its present 12-team configuration before the 2011-12 season), but that joy turned to heartache when the Ducks and the Utes were the only teams that reached the round of 32. There might not be seven bids in the offing for the conference in the 2017 NCAA tournament, but the Pac-12 can definitely put more than one team into the Sweet 16. In particular, the top two teams shown here appear to possess serious deep-run potential.
