Nodame Cantabile's Tomoko Ninomiya Ends 87 Clockers Manga in June

This year's 26th issue of Shueisha's Young Jump magazine revealed on Thursday that Tomoko Ninomiya is ending her 87 Clockers manga in the magazine's 30th issue on June 30.
The manga centers on Kanade Ichinose, a third year college student studying violin in a music college. However, he lacks motivation to continue his studies, and refuses to participate in competitions, only coasting through his mother's piano tutoring business. When he sees a girl standing barefoot in the snow outside his apartment, he falls in love. Through her, he enters the world of competitive hardware overclocking.
Ninomiya launched the manga in Shueisha's Jump Kai (Jump X) magazine in 2011, serializing it in the magazine until December 2014, when she moved the manga to Young Jump. Shueisha published the manga's eighth compiled book volume on March 18.
Ninomiya launched her Nodame Cantabile manga in Kodansha's Kiss in 2001, and ended it in 2009. Kodansha published 23 compiled book volumes for the series. Del Rey published 16 volumes of the manga in North America until the publisher ceased releasing manga. The manga was adapted into three television anime series, and has also received live-action drama and film adaptations.
Ninomiya recently ended her Onigiri Tsūshin - Dame Mama Nikki essay manga about her life as a mother in the January issue of Shueisha's Monthly You magazine last December.
