The Jazz aren’t getting just a new logo.

They’re getting a new uniform and court:

The pride uniform is the big addition, and I’ll wait to make a final determination until I see it on players . But I doubt that helps.

The horizontal stripes above the stomach definitely leave potential to make players look pudgy. Plus, the layout crams the number and musical note into too small a space. And sleeves gonna sleeve.

I like the colors, and the blue looks purple enough to give a Mardi Gras vibe with the green and yellow. I don’t know whether the Jazz intended to pay homage to their original city, New Orleans, but this uniform does.

The home, away and alternate uniforms are pretty similar to the previous versions. There are minor striping adjustments, and a basketball on the waistband.

That multi-colored basketball at center court just isn’t iconic enough to stand on its own as the center-court logo. Maybe eventually, but for now, it looks like it’s just missing the rest of the musical note.

Most of all, I love this gif of the logos:

I can’t stop watching.
