After watching the Spring Game one this is clear, the Oregon Ducks are in good hands at the Quarterback position for 2016 and moving forward.

Ryan Kelley’s decommital is not a real big surprise. The 4-Star Recruit may be just looking at his options. Dakota Prukop has asserted himself as the Starter taking the reigns for 2016 and Travis Jonsen showed Saturday that he is also capable of running the Oregon Offense.

Aaron Fentress from Comcast Sportsnet Northwest points out that Kelley if he remained with Oregon, would have competed, but may have had to wait as a bench player for the Ducks. Of course not having an early opportunity to see the field is a make or break situation for the 4-Star QB. Other schools may have an immediate area of need where he could have that chance of being a two or three year Starter so it makes sense that he would look at those options. Of course, he could still sign with the Ducks come February.

In watching the Spring Game it appears that the Quarterback position that could have plagued the Oregon Ducks the last few seasons is a thing of the past and for 2016 there are three guys who appear capable of taking care of the Oregon Offense.
