We continue our offseason coverage of Pac-12 football by taking inventory of each team's returning depth chart. Here are the top 10 players who will wear a Washington uniform this coming season. These rankings are obviously subjective, and comparing players at different positions is certainly not a cut-and-dried task, so keep that in mind:

DB Sidney Jones: There are those who believe Jones -- a first-team all-conference pick last season -- also has first-round potential. He led the Huskies with four interceptions last season, forced a trio of fumbles and led the Pac-12 in passes defended.

QB Jake Browning: He’s the catalyst of the offense and after a solid true freshman campaign -- where he completed 63.3 percent of his throws with 16 touchdowns to 10 interceptions -- he should show marked improvement in year No. 2.

S Budda Baker: One of the most physically gifted athletes in the conference, Baker tallied 49 tackles and a pair of interceptions for the No. 1 defense in the conference. It has been rumored that Baker could have a role on offense and/or special teams as a returner. Last season he returned just one kick for 40 yards and didn’t contribute to the offense. But with a pretty good running back (see below) the odds of him pilfering carries seems slim.

RB Myles Gaskin: As a true freshman, all he did was net 1,302 yards and score 14 touchdowns. He didn’t play a huge role in the passing game, hauling in just six catches for 19 yards. But that’s not what he’s really there for. He closed out the season with four straight 100-yard rushing performances, including 181 and four touchdowns in the bowl win over Southern Mississippi.

OT Trey Adams: When your true freshman quarterback and true freshman running back are having success with a true freshman left tackle, the future for the offense has to look pretty bright. All three will continue to grow together in an offense bubbling with potential. Adams was the first true freshman to start on the line for Washington since 2012. He started nine in a row before missing the Apple Cup and bowl game with an injury.

DB Azeem Victor: The team’s leading tackler last season posted 95 stops, including nine for a loss, 1.5 sacks and an interception that he returned for a touchdown in the Apple Cup. He also forced a pair of fumbles and broke up seven passes.

DL Elijah Qualls: The big man in the middle made huge strides as last season progressed and he grew into his role as the D-line’s anchor. He posted 4.5 sacks last year to go with 26 tackles and a pair of fumble recoveries.

WR John Ross: After missing all of last season with a knee injury, the speedy receiver returns to give Browning a potentially game-changing down-the-field-threat. Of course in 2014, he was splitting time between receiver and corner. But with a solid secondary already in place, look for the all-conference honorable mention pick from two seasons ago to be a solid contributor on offense.

DB Darren Gardenhire: With 45 stops and two interceptions in 2015, Gardenhire brings depth and experience to a defensive backfield that already has plenty of both. He appeared in all 13 games last season and started nine. He also had a scoop-and-score in the Apple Cup.

DB Kevin King: If it feels like we’re going heavy on the defense -- it’s for a reason. Aside from having the top scoring defense in the league, Washington only gave up 11 touchdowns through the air. That was tops in the Pac-12. King was a big reason for that with 39 stops, three interceptions and eight passes defended.
