It took two games in extra innings, but the Oregon Softball team found a way to get it done. The fifth ranked team in the nation used several home runs over the weekend, including a Grand Slam from Geri Anne Glasco. Janelle Lindvall hit a three run home run in the Sunday finale and tied Kailee Cuico for most RBI’s in an Oregon uniform at 180, a record that will likely be broken at home over the next few weekends at Jane Sanders Stadium.

Jenna Lilley, now back from an injury where she was hit in the face with a pitch close to a month ago has returned to the lineup with a vengeance. She is hiting .538 in the last six games and has bumped her season average up to .310 according to GoDucks.com

Lindvall started the series driving in four runs in a 10-4 win with a three run home run in the seventh and Starter Cheridan Hawkins threw three innings giving up 5 hits, 2 runs and 2 walks. Geri Anne Glasco came in for the win. Megan Kleist shut the door tossing three innings and giving up one hit in the series opener.

Kleist and Hawkins combined on Saturday and scattered nine Sun Devil hits for a 5-4 win. On Sunday Kleist gave up 9 hits and 3 earned runs. Glasco came in and gave up a run helping Kleist to the victory. Oregon has won back to back Pac-12 Series and will take the momentum into their next series at home next weekend.
