It's a really amazing place and the people are nice. The only reason why they have a 4 is I tried to do an exchange. I called before hand and asked if the cloths were in season, and if they would take it. They didn't end up taking any of the cloths I brought in, which is totally ok because of course they were "like new" things and they only go with the seasons. The only thing I do have to complain about is that I called ahead, asked, and thought I'd make at least 1-2 exchanges and nada. I don't like wasting time and waiting 40 minuets on something I thought, and asked about, and we couldn't do the exchange. If I knew that they weren't taking the items I brought, or it wasn't exactly what they were looking for i would like to know before hand. Please don't waste other people's time, and be as straight forward as possible. I understand they have a job, they need to stock the store, but be honest. What you are taking, what you really aren't taking, and what you are looking for. This helps in so many ways especially towards the people who have better things to do then to sit for 40 minuets on false hope.

There is always something great you can find if you Dig, but be careful if I'm being honest some stuff is a scam... like why would you re sale a worn out white pro club for one dollar less than a brand new one... just a lot of goffy stuff like that. It's like they think oh we are the buffalo exchange so we can sell it for $3 even tho. That's what it's worth.
But non the less unlike a thrift Store bacilli exchange has much better finds and generally cleaner.... But you will spend like $60 real quick.
The hidden Gem in the shop are the glasses ... really really unique selection of glasses for $10 and under.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 81264360Feb 4, 20241 check-in
I read all the reviews and was quite hesitant to drive 40 miles to check out the goods.
Customer service was awesome. Extremely welcoming and helpful.
The selection of shoes, purses, pants, hoodies, costume jewelry and quirky goods was the best.
The value was worth it because the dozen items we purchased were in almost new condition, averaging $12-$30.
We will be back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sam V.Orange, CA469710Dec 29, 2023
They choose the most random things to buy, feels like workers just pick what they want to buy off of people not really what the majority would want.
The girls that work here are super obnoxious and ego driven. I dread coming to this location to sell because of them lol.
The dudes are cool though
I've worked in retail before and it's not that hard to not talk to people like they are dumb or like you're a robot lolHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Karina M.Dana Point, CA022Apr 24, 2024
I was nervous coming in to trade after reading some of the previous reviews, but my experience was absolutely amazing! Manager was training a new employee on how to sort and update traded items into the system (which of course I didn't mind this is their job it doesn't kill to be a little patient sometimes) manager was SO NICE and complimented me on my wardrobe. Definitely coming back to trade & shop!

Great consignment store located at the LAB, you never know what you'll find here! Employees were super nice and friendly. They have a great selection of vintage and designer items at great prices. Great shopping option for the area!

The best re-sell experience I have ever had! The staff here is so friendly and helpful. They are well trained on popular brands and styles. They gave lots of tips and tricks on what items they always take and I ended up making pretty decent money for the items that had been sitting in my closet for months! And for the items they do not take they offer the option of donating them which I find super convenient!
Will be coming back here with more items!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 2, 2023
I'm no stranger to buffalo as a seller nor as a shopper.
Even though this store might seem small it's packed with amazing finds.
Selling, they really have an eye for special pieces. Thankful I really shorted through my pile to bring only what I think they are looking for and luckily I can make quick cash with my clothes I'm ready to rotate!
Customer service is great and friendly.

After calling, I inquired about selling some clothes and was told just to bring a government issued ID. When I arrived, I had a hard time parking because the Lab is very crowded and the parking lot is very small with mainly compact vehicle parking spaces. It took me 20 minutes to get a parking spot. Then I was able to finally wiggle through the maze of stores and find Buffalo Exchange. Upon arrival the store is very compact and crowded. There was a long line of people trying to sell clothes. The buyers were very frustrated and didn't have a good system of directing people in a line. Once I got to the front to be able to sell my large bag of designer clothes the East Asian girl (Didn't see a name tag) jumped in front of the buyer that was helping me. She then told me she would take over and would only buy one of my designer items. It felt like very weird energy because she accepted several items from customer in front of me. For context all of the items I bought were practically in new to good condition. She told me she wouldn't accept the rest because it was out of season but the flyer clearly says all seasons. Also, I heard her say they had so many items to sort through she didn't know how to process it all. I accepted the buy for one item and left shortly because of bias atmosphere. I will say this location had decent thrift items to buy. However, the manager and employees could improve their customer service and standards. Overall a very lackluster experience and service.

I have to say. I have always loved this location and the people working are always nice and communicative!
I have seen people get worked up about their items not being taken ALLL THE TIME! And the staff is always nice about it and handle the reactions in the best way they can.
I have sold and exchanged many times here and there are times I get super lucky and they take alot and times when they dont take much! I have always had the same style so I know its based on stock and necessity! Just because you see something similar to what your selling being sold on the racks, doesn't mean they need to take your items friends... if anything, thats a sign that they might not need that item since they have similar in stock already!
Id say, if you are sensitive and cant handle the rejection of not buying your clothes, don't sell anywhere. Its not that serious, your giving it up for a reason aren't you?
Thank you guys for always being rad here! :)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
