I have rented from this Highlands Ranch location several times and am always pleased with the customer service and cars we rent. We will be needing a car again in a couple of weeks and I wouldn't think of renting any where else.

Had a very good experience with a gentleman named Boots. There was a challenge with the reservation and he was patient while we called Headquarters to straighten things out. I returned the vehicle today and he was friendly and efficient. Wish the people on the phone were as good as he was.

Today, I had a last minute emergency where I needed to rent a car because my car was taken in for service. Boots was supper helpful and knowledgeable. So happy I came here! Totally recommend.

I have not been very happy with Avis and their service, however, the gentleman that waited on my this morning has restored a little faith in the company! He was Uber helpful in getting me a receipt for a car that I returned several days ago in a separate city and was kind and chatty!!

Needing a vehicle that would seat 6 passengers, we reserved a car at Avis. Our reservation was for 10 am & we showed up at 11 am. Avis didn't have a vehicle waiting for us. We were told that we would need to wait for maybe a car to show up. A hailstorm a week prior was to blame for them not having a car.
They should have contacted us to let us know the situation & give us a chance to make other arrangements. Waiting for us to show up & not having a car ready is very incompetent & unprofessional. This Avis location has great staff at the counter! I walked in and was greeted at pickup and drop off with a smile. We have taken many road trips over the years and my experience at this office was the best hands down. I had planned on renting a large SUV to drive into Utah with my family of five, but as I told the gentleman at the counter he suggested their extra large SUV for more room. He proceeded to walk me to a nearby lot and show me both of the vehicles side-by-side. Thank Goodness this man went the extra mile! Our family would have been like sardines in the large SUV! He said it would be a small charge for the upgrade which was minimal. Typically, when we rent vehicles the person at the counter doesn't even meet our eye, much less take the time to walk across a lot and go over our options. The vehicle was very clean and drove well. They have a gas station right beside this location, which makes it easy to fill up before drop-off. Thanks to Avis in Highlands Ranch for this personable experience! What a terrible place! I had made a reservation for a specific vehicle and when I arrived, was given something totally different. Furthermore, the staff was completely incompetent about the situation. They misled, deceived and lied about my whole reservation. This place should be shut down. Looking at all the reviews, it looks like similar things occur all the time. I will be contacting the main headquarters regarding my reservation and will proceed with legal action.

Do not expect them to be convenient. My husband and I rented a van, just went to do a night drop off so we didn't have to be here in the morning and could sleep in. The key drop off had zero envelopes like it's supposed to for the drop off and some employee never even locked the box that holds all of their drop off keys. Even if I wanted to drop it off now I can't in fear that someone will steal the vehicle, due to the fact an employee did not do their job. Not happy at all that we have to come back. Hopefully no one attempts to return/drop off a car between now and when they open.

Avis was not competent enough to deliver the car that we reserved nor were they able to offer a satisfactory resolution and thus destroyed our holiday weekend plan! Incompetent. No consideration for the customer. Disappointing!!

I rented a car from this location and the change oil light was on. I called and this particular location had no cars available for me to switch out. They sent me to the next closest location with cars for me to switch mine out, which was still a 40 minute drive in rush hour traffic. I went to the counter at the other location and the lady refused to switch it out for me even though there were tons of cars in their lot. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
