It's been a few months since Capcom first revealed Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 6 in Famitsu. Since then, fans have run wild with speculation. Apollo Justice and his Chords of Steel have been confirmed to be making an appearance in Nick's latest adventure. An appearance from Maya has been hinted at with the news that part of the game will take place in Kurain, but Maya and Pearl haven't been officially confirmed. Famitsu is back with more Ace Attorney news. While fans are still waiting on Maya to be announced, Capcom has revealed the name of Nick and Apollo's latest rival prosecutor.
Nicknamed the "Funeral Prosecutor," Nayuta Sadmahi is who the beloved ace attornies will be facing off against in the upcoming adventure. Nayuta believes that a guilty verdict means salvation and a peaceful rest for victims. The partial scans that have been made available so far from Famitsu have curiously kept the prosecutor's gender ambiguous. While the screenshots look like Nayuta's a male, the text describing the character in the magazine has kept both possibilities open.
Sadmahi's gender aside, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 6 will bring even more turnabout cases to fans when it releases. Japan is currently looking at a 2016 release for the second 3DS Ace Attorney game. The franchise's official Twitter account confirmed the title will be coming west, but no release date has been announced.
The prosecution clearly asked a legitimate question!
