For Taylor Lahr, a veterinary technology student at Globe University-Wausau, keeping in contact with her friends and family is something that’s easy to do with all the technology and social media available.
“I had a lot of friends who asked what I did at school besides play with animals, so I thought why not show them.”
She started posting on Instagram about a year ago when she was taking her Parasitology class. “We were looking at something really interesting under the microscopes and I thought it would be really cool to show them just what I actually was learning and doing while at school. After that it just sort of became second nature to post weekly about what I was doing in class because of the positive feedback I was getting on my posts,” Taylor Lahr said.
