The Times of India reports that the second phase of the odd-and-even scheme for vehicles in Delhi could be announced as early as next week. The Delhi government had  sought its citizen's opinions on bringing back the scheme and the paper quotes a source as saying that "majority of respondents have voted for the return of the scheme on a permanent basis".

"Nuke power boost gets a step closer as India ratifies global pact on accident liability" reports the Financial Express.  The paper however adds, that doubts persisted among some suppliers, as India is still reluctant to change the legal provision, that makes suppliers also potentially liable for mishaps.

The Business Standard reports that the Prime Minister is set to launch two mega rural schemes - Rurban mission and Housing for All - to provide urban amenities in village clusters and housing for all, just before the upcoming Budget. Both the schemes are expected to get higher allocations in the upcoming general budget, the paper adds.

"Govt slams labs for Zika bluff" headlines the Mail Today. The paper reports that the Union Health Ministry had pulled up private players who had made announcements regarding test kits for the deadly virus and said that they cannot cash in on a public health emergency.

The paper reports that the state government retracted from its earlier affidavit and had chosen to go with religious heads by backing the restriction on worship at the holy shrine by women between the age of 10 and 50 years.

The Hindustan Times reckons that "You could soon choose not to pay for food on premium trains" like Rajdhani and Shatabdi. The paper says, the railway minister may delink passenger fares from catering costs in his upcoming budget speech.

And finally, the Indian Express reports an amazing tale of turnaround from Khagaria, Bihar.  21 year old Vaatsalya Chauhan, an IIT Kharagpur student, whose father is a small time welder in Khagaria, has just landed a Rs 1.2 crore job with tech giant Microsoft.
