Taiwan earthquake: 'No way to escape', says mother of two

An earthquake has toppled a number of buildings in the south Taiwanese city of Tainan.

Rescue teams are trying to reach people trapped in rubble after the magnitude 6.4 quake struck early on Saturday as people were sleeping.

Kate Lao Shaffner is a reporter who lives about 20 minutes away from the quake epicentre, and has been speaking to the BBC about how she experienced it with her two daughters.
