The man behind Bethesda Software's revivals of the classic Elder Scrolls and Fallout CRPG franchises is due to earn some serious industry recognition next month. Todd Howard is confirmed to be receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 16th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards to be held at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco on March 16th 2016.
Fans of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4 will appreciate how Howard is being recognized for his contributions in helping create and realize open 3D world adventures. The GDC's Lifetime Achivement Award has previously been awarded to fellow industry veterans including Hideo Kojima, Warren Spector, John Carmack, and Shigeru Miyamoto; Howard is joining some very esteemed company on account of his own talents.
