I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

Leo DiCaprio lookalike model is Erik from Sweden – email me for his details, I will sell it to you.

If I was any good at dressing my Ken dolls I believe I would’ve played many more scenarios other than deranged beach guard meets Barbie or bachelorette party surprise-appearance Ken… basically the ones that require more than the sculpted boxers and a ribbon around the head. I don’t really mind what my man dresses like, as long as he’s God fearing and has unquestionable integrity, but when it comes to garment musing I find myself having more appreciation for menswear than womenswear. The Braille pop-up shop was open in Shoreditch in December 2010 (how long have I not fed Ken whom I’ve been holding hostage in my backlog…) – the SS11 collection, ‘Colt’, was inspired by modernist designs of Palm Springs and the natural landscape of Agua Caliente Canyon. The designs display an unmistakable Graphic Design attitude with calculated clean lines and symmetry – and sure enough, the founders (Samuel Kientsch and Benjamin Vorono) are from GD backgrounds. Oh the sweet sound of hope instilled again concerning my own future… sounds like kaching but that’s probably my new ringtone.

Thank you Michael from SpotComms for inviting me down!

  1. i love mens tailoring something so fresh and sharp about it.. x

  2. Some very cool pieces. Sadly, my own man would probably refuse to wear any of it, being more a jeans & t-shirt California sort of kid, but a girl can dream. I LOVE that the designers come from GD backgrounds. Yea!

  3. How much? Lol. ;P

  5. that endive salad looks delicious. so does the leo look-a-like ;)

  6. OMG he does look like a young Leo.

And those clothes sure are something.

  7. Thank you for all the fresh and sharp posts you blog. I always love visiting, and was thrilled to see a suspicion confirmed today! I totally agree with you about Mr. Man being nicely clothed up and also a God follower.
Want to follow each other? I’m a little blogger quite in awe of Park and Cube, but always hoping to get better!
    Cheers, and bless you,

  8. hahha..i remember making clothes for my barbies and biting the heads off the ken dolls….at that age..i sure hadn’t fathomed this culmination of men’s clothing…the brand has a different approach than the others..and i sure am loving those shirts hanging..which i can covet as well…!!!!!

  9. Beautiful, and the photos are nice too haha!

  10. mmmmm…love this :D

    Clothes looks aaamazing :)

  11. I adore all the lines, fantastic design. So clean and beautiful! This model totally looks like Ken too, haha.

  12. wow, this is some great clothing! those jackets in the first picture are great.

  13. I love a man in a clean crisp outfit. I like the experimentation with the various fabrics and weights and linework.

  14. If the men in my life dress like this I would complain much less and love them much MUCH more. But instead they wanna stick to their own (lack of) style. Guess I’ll just have to accept that. Just as much as they’ll have to accept my never ending complains. Lol.

  15. Love all of the coats and blazers!!

  16. I’m exactly opposite when it comes to clothes! I’m completely useless when it comes to menswear, but can straight away see a good piece of womenswear! :P Which is a good skill to use for myself but my fiance always whines for me to style him , which I’m just so unable to do! ugh! :P

  17. I had a total “if I were a boy…” moment, but then I realized, as a girl, I’d still wear most of those pieces!

  18. i want that military green-ish shawl top for myself. so beautiful!

  19. I just love this blog to death — the design (I’m a GD major), your style and writing, the events you go to and share… Keep it up!

  20. Interesting details and fabrics introduced into the conventional blazer and trousers ensemble! I think menswear is essentially all about the details, fabrics and textures because in terms of variation in silhouette, there isn’t really much room for change.

I especially like the capes and shawls! Pretty ingenuous (: I like clothes that can be worn in different ways however I like it.

  21. Wow what a guy! Love his attire… Oh.. Ekhm, the pictures are great :)

  22. must say i find women fashion more interesting. this is not saying that braille isnt worth much. i find some patterns and geometry work rather appealing, but the blazer with an application towards the middle… does not fit

  23. YUM to both the row of grey textured coats AND of course ot the Ken dolls… I think the only improvement that could be made to Park and Cube is more male models… just saying.
    I <3 Shini.

  24. The textures in those coats are just gorgeous!

  25. hahahah you made me laugh with the “Ken” part :D. I actually had only one Ken and of course, he wasn’t so important to me as Barbies were, I guess it was because of the clothes.
Anyway, beautiful collection&beautiful models, and I want blazer from the 12th picture (I can have a model too:))

  26. So, I’ll take all the clothes, and perhaps that male model to go.
