Farmers Insurance Open: Tiger Woods In Striking Distance At Torrey Pines

After a solid 1-under opening round on Thursday at the Farmers Insurance Open, Tiger Woods has come out scoring in the second round. He notched four birdies in a row on the front nine and has climbed to 6-under par for the tournament, just four shots back from the lead. Tiger is tied for eighth, but has lost ground to his round two playing partner Anthony Kim, who birdied on four straight holes to start the day putting the American in a tie with Ricky Fowler for second place.

Also capitalizing on his opening round success is John Daly, who is 3-under for the day and  8-under for the tournament through seven holes.

With Tiger and Daly, along with other notable names, looking like they are headed toward a low scoring day, this tournament could be a great one heading into the weekend.
