NOVEMBER

Monday, Nov. 30: District is holding a Blue Moon Beer Dinner at 6:30 p.m. featuring Harvest Pumpkin Ale, Cinnamon Horchata Ale, Blue Moon beer cocktail, Belgian White, Cappuccino Oatmeal Stout and Gingerbread Spiced Ale. Cost is $55 plus tax and tip. District is at 1350 Euclid Ave., Cleveland. Call 216-858-1000.

DECEMBER

Thursday, Dec. 3: The Wine Spot is holding Toys4JoyRevolution 5-10 p.m. Fill up the toy box with new, unwrapped toys and receive a raffle ticket to win a Revolution Brewing gift basket. Revolution's Anthony Diperna, who will be pouring Revolution beers including Fistmas Ale, will draw the magic ticket for the basket. The Wine Spot is at 2271 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights. Friday, Dec. 4: The Melting Pot will hold a holiday beer dinner at 6:30 p.m. featuring Great Lakes Christmas Ale, New Belgium's Accumulation, Magic Hat Snow Roller, Harpoon Winter Warmer and Great Lakes Blackout Stout. Saturday, Dec. 5: Platform Beer Co. will hold "Give a toy, get a beer" day 2-4 p.m. Drop off a toy and enjoy a $1 New Cleveland Palesner and slice of pizza courtesy of the Cleveland Police Foundation. Items requested are unwrapped new toys or clothing items for boys or girls, ages newborn to 18 years. It's part of the Skylight Foundation's annual holiday toy drive to benefit the Cleveland Police Foundation. Platform is at 4125 Lorain Ave., Cleveland.

Monday, Dec. 7: The recently opened Yard House in Westlake will hold a Spruce Tip IPA tapping. The Rogue Spruce Tip IPA from the Oregon brewery is exclusive to Yard House and is part of the chain's Chalkboard Series of seasonal beers and small-batch selections. It will be available through mid-January. The restaurant opened its first location on Dec. 7, 1996. The Westlake restaurant is at 160 Union St., in Crocker Park.

Tuesday, Dec. 8: Buckeye Beer Engine will hold a North Coast Beer Dinner at 7 p.m. Cost is $60 and includes tax. North Coast's John Bisson will be on hand to explain the beers and pairings with chef Chuck Leggett. Amuse Bouche: Deconstructed Yellowtail Tuna Narutomaki, cucumber, ponzu granita, tobiko, tempura crunch: Pairing: Scrimshaw Pilsner, 4.7 percent alcohol.

Course: Stone crab-avocado bibb-lettuce wrap, avocado, cucumber, watermelon radish, lime vinaigrette. Pairing: Le-Merle Belgian Style Saison, 7.9 percent.

Course: Arancini Arribiata, fried risotto, fresh mozzarella, marinara arribiatta, parmesan cheese. Pairing: Red Seal Amber Ale, 5.4 percent.

Course: Lamb Lollipops, Frenched lamb chops, fresh oregano, broccoli rabe, mint oil. Pairing: 2012 Old Stock Ale, 11.9 percent.

Course: Duck Wellington, duck breast, mushroom duxelle, prosciutto, puff pastry, rye whiskey barrel-aged Old Rasputin XVIII demi. Pairing: Rye Whiskey Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin XVIII Russian Imperial Stout, 11.3 percent.

Course: Lemon-Ginger Creme Brulee, candied ginger-lemon zest garnish. Pairing: Tart Cherry Berliner Weisse, 3.45 percent.

Tuesday, Dec. 8: Graffiti Social Kitchen is having a Christmas Ale beer dinner billed as "Breakfast for Dinner with Santa" at 6:30 p.m. The four-course meal is $40. Friday, Dec. 11: Little Mountain Homebrew Club will be holding a Christmas party at 6 p.m. It's at Little Mountain Brewing Co., 7621 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Includes appetizers, dinner, raffle and bottle exchange: Bring three bottles of your favorite homebrew or craft beer wrapped to exchange and sample after dinner. Monday, Dec. 14: Hoppin' Frog Christmas Beer Dinner is 7 p.m. (doors at 6:30 p.m.) The five-course dinner kicks off with your choice of a "welcome beer." First: Traditional French Ratatouille, fresh medley of roasted zucchini, squash, eggplant, tomato, lightly sauteed with onion and garlic. Complimented with a roasted red pepper and basil cream sauce. Beer: 8-ounce King Gose Home, Imperial Gose Ale.

Second: Lemon-Basil Mahi Mahi Crepe, stuffed with pan-seared mahi mahi, creamy

ricotta cheese, roasted garlic and freshly diced tomatoes. Served with classic Dill-Beurre Blanc (white-wine butter sauce.) Beer: 8-ounce Hopped-Up Goose Juice, Rye IPA.

Third: D.O.R.I.S.-Braised Short Rib Ragu, savory stout-braised short rib ragu meat sauce, served over house-made pappardelle pasta and finished with shaved Romano cheese. Beer: 5-ounce D.O.R.I.S. The Destroyer, Double Oatmeal-Imperial Stout.

Fourth: Roasted Pork Medallions, tender slow-roasted pork tenderloin, with celery-root-potato pancake and distinctive bourbon-butter sauce. Beer: 5-ounce vintage 2013 Barrel-Aged Frosted Frog Christmas Ale.

Fifth: Doughnut trio, house-made cinnamon-sugar, toasted coconut and chocolate-glazed doughnuts topped with a delicious and sweet coffee-Porter reduction. Beer: 8-ounce Infusion A, Peanut Butter and Chocolate Coffee Porter.
