Alleyne Leads Oregon Ducks To Another Win, Over North Dakota

The Oregon Ducks Women’s Basketball is 5-0 on the season after defeating North Dakota by 26 points. Oregon took a 15-2 First Quarter lead as Jillian Alleyne added another double double to her growing list notching her 21st consecutive and her 74th career double double in the process.

The Oregon Ducks Women’s Basketball team showed off some Defense Prowess early on in their 77-51 win over North Dakota on Saturday at Matthew Knight Arena. Jillian Alleyne was again the star of the game netting another double double for Oregon. The team took their undefeated record to 5-0 on the season with another impressive performance. Four players scored in double figures and Oregon did not allow the Fighting Hawks to score a field goal until the end of the 1st Quarter as the Ducks jumped out to a 15-2 lead to start the game. It was a lead they would not relinquish.

Oregon had a 14 point lead entering the break at halftime. The second half saw the points falling for the Ducks led by Alleyne who finished with 17 points, Lexi Bando had 14 and Lexi Peterson added 13 for the game. The home team won by 26 points, one of their bigger margins of the year. It was a balanced attack and the most complete game for the Oregon Ducks this season. The Women’s Basketball team will host San Jose State Monday night at 8pm Pacific Time at Matthew Knight Arena. The game will be broadcast on Pac-12 Network.
