Coming at Brooklyn Historical Society This Week

Do you collect stuff? Depression glassware? Thimbles? Netsuke? Whatever your fascination, on Tuesday evening, December 1, at 6:30, the Brooklyn Historical Society will present “City Reliquary’s Annual Collector’s Night”, with displays of all manner of collections from all over the Borough. Admission is $10, or $5 for HS or Green-Wood members; purchase tickets here.

On Thursday evening, December 3, at 7:00, the Brooklyn Art Song Society will be at BHS to present a concert of two English song cycles, Gerald Finzi’s A Young Man’s Exhortation and Ralph Vaughan Williams’ (image) Songs of Travel. Admission is $25, or $15 for students, seniors, or BHS or Green-Wood members. Purchase tickets here.
