No. 13 Stanford women cruise past Missouri State 82-65

ESTERO, Fla. -- Lili Thompson scored 26 points, including five 3-pointers, and No. 13 Stanford cruised past Missouri State 82-65 on Friday.

Thompson added six assists and was 10 of 21 from the floor -- 5 of 11 from beyond the arc. Stanford was 15 of 33 on 3-point attempts overall. Briana Roberson scored 18 points and Karlie Samuelson added 15 points.

Stanford (4-1) led by six at the end of the first quarter, but dominated in the second, going on a 20-2 run to break things open. But the Lady Bears ended the half with an 11-2 run -- eight by Tyonna Snow -- and trailed 44-30 at intermission.

The Cardinal made four straight 3-pointers coming out of the break -- two by Samuelson- and Arkansas State never threatened again.

Missouri State (2-3) was led by Snow with 13 points. Kenzie Williams and Hillary Chvatal added 12 points apiece.
