The Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers meet in the 119th edition of the Civil War. Both teams are heading in different directions this season and the home team has all the momentum.

After watching Vernon Adams carve up opposing Defenses during the Oregon Ducks seven game winning streak I expect he will have another highlight reel performance on Friday against Oregon State. The Beavers are giving up over 35 points per game this season while scoring just 19 points per game. With Adams firmly grasping the Oregon Offense the last two and a half months, following an injury to his index finger, it could be a very long day for the visiting team. What will I be watching? Consistency.

Over the last few weeks, Oregon has gotten better on both sides of the ball, but Adams is the leader of this team.

Oregon State will look to possibly play more than one Quarterback on Friday, but my eye will be on the short season development of Oregon Ducks Quarterback Vernon Adams who has led with his arm and his legs this season. Beating the two biggest Pac-12 Confererence rivals make it a satisfying season, but beating Oregon State, the in state rival will be the icing on the cake after a somewhat disappointing season for Oregon in a rebuilding year. One thing is clear. Oregon fans will be happy with a win, but regardless, the questions about Quarterback will begin to loom for next season, likely after the clock hits all zeroes for this team.

We know that Oregon will have one more game after the Civil War and regardless of the outcome the Beavers will be sent home until Spring. Looking at this game has not been easy, but here goes. Adams holds all the cards right now.
