Amazon is the entire embodiment of the company that just keeps on giving this year. Black Friday is always a great shopping experience at this time of year via Amazon. But this year the online retailer seems to going all out. We’ve had pre-Black Friday sales, announcements of Black Friday deals. We’ve even had the Cyber Monday deals put in front of us ahead of time. Now, as part of an effort to keep consumers rushing back to the site, Amazon has published a number of apps, books, videos, and music titles that are being offered entirely free-of-charge as part of a Verizon ‘Thanksgetting’ event.
Everyone loves a freebie. Everyone loves a freebie even more if there is an array of choice and it’s offered as a digital download so it can be obtained immediately. Unlike a lot of other companies, Amazon also seems to understand the benefits of actually providing freebies that have value to consumers. The list includes some big name Hollywood titles like the fantastic Divergent blockbuster, as well as music downloads by Meghan Trainor and free game downloads such as Kung Fury: Street Rage, and Toca Life: City, an excellent and fun education game aimed at children.
