Lance Palmer
The main card is set for next month’s “WSOF 26: Palmer vs. Almeida” event in Sin City, WSOF officials recently confirmed with MMAjunkie.
WSOF 26 takes place Dec. 18 at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The main card airs on NBCSN following prelims on MMAjunkie.
As previously announced, featherweight champion Lance Palmer (10-1), who’s an honorable mention in the NOS Energy Drink MMA featherweight rankings, meets challenger Alexandre Almeida (17-5). Additionally, kickboxer Tyrone Spong (2-0) returns to the MMA cage for a co-headliner with Jake Heun (8-4).
Newly added to the main card, lightweight Ozzy Dugulubgov (7-2), who’s 4-1 under the WSOF banner in his past five fights, takes on Nic Herron-Webb (18-6), a promotional newcomer who’s fought mostly in his home state of Alaska, where he’s won his past four fights, all via submission.
Additionally, former WSOF bantamweight title challenger Josh Hill (12-1) takes on undefeated Dagestan fighter Bekbulat Magomedov (16-0), and former WSOF title challenger Sheymon Moraes (7-1) takes on featherweight Strikeforce/UFC vet Robbie Peralta (18-6).
