Funeral services for former Florida First Lady Rhea Chiles are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Faith Presbyterian Church in Tallahassee. It will be streamed on the Florida Channel website for friends and family who are unable to attend in person.

The live streaming is available anywhere in the country, and there will be a gathering in Anna Maria Island to watch the services.

Chiles, the wife of former Gov. and U.S. Sen. Lawton Chiles, died Nov. 8 at home.

Their son, Ed Chiles, told the Bradenton Herald the family was conflicted about doing two services, one in Anna Maria and one in Tallahassee, where the former First Lady of Florida will be buried next to her husband. Instead, the family is inviting friends to gather at The Studio at Gulf and Pine, in Anna Maria Island beginning at 10:30 am to watch the Tallahassee service.

The studio doors will open at 10:30 on Monday.

The Florida Channel will set up a memorial page for access to the live feed from the funeral service and videos they have produced featuring the former first lady over the years.  It can be accessed from their home page.
