Families of Christians Killed by ISIS Encouraged by Outpouring of Support and Love

The families of the 21 Christians who were murdered by ISIS militants have been encouraged by the outpouring of love they have received from believers across the globe.

One News Now reports that EngageMagazine.net began a letter-writing campaign, inviting Christians around the world to write letters of encouragement to the families of those killed by the ISIS fighters in North Africa.

Tom Doyle of E3 Partners had the privilege of delivering the letters to the families.

“I just want to thank all of the folks ... for sending the letters," he said. "We got them [and] we took over 2,000 of them, and these martyr families were overwhelmed with the love."

Though the families have endured much and suffered the loss of their husbands, brothers, and sons, they remain committed to their faith.

"They were overwhelmed by the letters – they treasured them," Doyle shared. "We divided them up among the families; and my goodness, these are some brave, courageous people who were not afraid to die for Jesus. In fact, they walked ... hurriedly to their death. They knew what they were going to face, but they were there and they went to see Jesus."

One man who was killed in the ISIS video left behind a 20-year-old pregnant wife. The woman has since given birth to a baby boy. Another man who was killed had been a former Muslim who converted to Christianity.
