TORRANCE

Battery: 6:12 p.m. May 8, 2200 block of Sepulveda Boulevard. Someone pushed the victim with his chest and hands.

Residential burglary: 10 a.m. May 8 to 10:30 a.m. May 11, 3500 block of West 168th Street. Entry made into a residence tented for fumigation. The location was ransacked. Watches were reported stolen.

Residential burglary: 9:56 a.m. to noon May 8, 5100 block of Lenore Street. A door was forced open. No entry made; no loss reported.

Residential burglary: 7:50 a.m. to 3:13 p.m. May 8, 100 block of Vista del Parque. A window was smashed. The location was ransacked. Jewelry was reported stolen.

Residential burglary: 6-7:30 p.m. May 7, 1500 block of Amapola Avenue. Entry through an unlocked door. Electronics were reported stolen.

Residential burglary: 3-4 p.m. May 7, 1900 block of 238th Street. A door was pried open. The burglar(s) may have been scared off by a resident. No loss reported.

Commercial burglary: 9:40-9:45 p.m. May 11, 23800 block of Audrey Avenue. A door lock was defeated. Money was reported stolen from a laundry machine coin box.

Commercial burglary: 7 p.m. May 11 to 7:30 a.m. May 12, 3600 block of Newton Street. Entry through an unsecured window. The location was ransacked. A Bluetooth speaker was reported stolen.

Commercial burglary: 8 p.m. May 10 to 6:30 a.m. May 11, 1600 block of Crenshaw Boulevard. A glass door was smashed for entry. Register drawers and money were reported stolen.

Commercial burglary: 1:02-1:03 a.m. May 8, 3500 block of Torrance Boulevard. A glass door was smashed. A credit card reader was reported stolen.

Theft: 3:05-3:10 p.m. May 7, 2300 block of Plaza del Amo. A purse and a laptop computer were reported stolen from behind a reception desk.

Theft: 10:30-10:40 a.m. May 7, 20400 block of Anza Avenue. A cellphone left on a vehicle bumper was reported stolen.
