Pop Culture Illustrator Robert De Michiell Has Lost His Battle With Cancer.
The 57 year old passed away at his New York home on Monday (12Oct15), on the eve of a one-day exhibition of his watercolour works at ClampArt in Manhattan. The show went ahead as planned and served as a tribute event.
De Michiell's works appeared in U.S. publications like The New Yorker, The Wall Street Journal and Entertainment Weekly, while he also created poster art for Broadway shows, including recent revivals of La Cage aux Folles and A Little Night Music.
