3 Killed, More Than 20 Injured By Terror Attacks In Jerusalem, Raanana

A series of terror attacks in the cities of Raanana and Jerusalem left three Israelis dead and at least 20 wounded, The Times of Israel reported today.

Early this morning, a 32-year-old Israeli man was stabbed and lightly injured by a Palestinian in central Raanana. Passersby who saw the incident subdued the attacker until he was arrested by police. The Tel Aviv-Jerusalem highway was shut down as authorities attempted to find the person who drove the attacker to Raanana.

Earlier in the day, two Arabs boarded a bus in the southern Jerusalem neighborhood of Armon Hanatziv and began shooting and stabbing passengers. Two people were reported killed and fifteen injured. Police shot both attackers, killing one and injuring the other. Moments after the attack, an Arab driver rammed his vehicle into a crowd in central Jerusalem, killing one person and injuring several others. The driver was arrested.

The last reported terror attack was a second stabbing in Raanana in which four people were injured, one seriously. The attacker was arrested.

The Times also reported that a 13-year-old boy who had been stabbed and critically injured yesterday in the Pisgat Ze’ev neighborhood of Jerusalem is now in stable condition, although he lost a lot of blood. Medical officials said that the boy’s life was saved by a quick evacuation to the hospital by emergency personnel. The boy’s attacker, also a teenager, was injured after he was struck by a car as he fled the scene.
