CertaPro Painters of Castle Rock

My second time using CertaPro in Castle Rock to paint the exterior of two different homes - first time was with the previous owner Randy, and this time with Kevin as the owner. Alan was the guy who came out twice to give us the initial quote, and then after we added more requirements that would require additional masking and labor. Alan was pleasant to work with and made sure to capture everything in the quote - which is key to ensure there are no gotchas at the end (like if you want the foundation painted which is not typical).

We had family coming in, and requested the job to be completed by a certain date. They had an adjustment in their scheduling, and bumped ours up to ensure they would complete the job early since wet weather was in the forecast.

We had Rene's crew, and they were courteous, hard working, focused, detailed, and clearly take pride in their workmanship. They ensured they protected our deck and belongings, and did the best masking job around the house than I have ever seen! Paint was applied well, and they consistently checked their own work and took care of anything needing attention. In the end, there were very few items I had to point out that needed touch up, and Rene just marked them without hesitation so the crew could get on them right away.

Overall, the job took 2.5 days on a fairly large ranch home, which was amazing the progress they made with their attention to detail!! I would highly recommend, as the experience before, during and after now that the job is done was great all along. A+++

I had CertaPro Painters of Castle Rock paint the interior of my home. They did a fantastic job! Everyone I had contact with - the painters, Karen in the office and Aaron who came out to give me a quote - were friendly, professional and accommodating. CertaPro is a great company.

I stumbled upon CertaPro after solicitors from a different company caught me in my yard. I didn't really think, at the time, that my stucco home needed a repaint; it was last painted six years ago and we were told by the builder it wouldn't need a repaint for nine years. We decided to get the house evaluated by several companies and chose CertaPro for several reasons:

1) The person who did the evaluation, Aaron Mann, pointed out several areas on our house that needed a repaint: many cracks in the stucco that we didn't notice until called to our attention, window trim areas, the garage door frame and door where the paint started to flake off...

2) The explanation of the job was very detailed where as the other companies didn't really provide much. Aaron walked us through the house cleaning process, what the team would do to clean up any messes, and process the team would go through during the painting including a pre and post walk through of the job with us, and the names of the products used. He also explained exactly what they would paint: the trim, the doors, the door and window frames, the soffit, the gutters, etc, whereas the other companies just said "paint the outside".

3) The product chosen by CertaPro had the longest warranty by the paint company and longest lasting.

So the job...this was ridiculously easy (aside from moving all of the plethora of stuff from around the house)! The entire process to pressure wash the house took only 45 minutes, and boy did the exterior look really clean afterwards! The individual assigned for the on-site job explained what time the team would arrive on painting day, and they arrived on time (actually, slightly early)! The team concertedly kept the area clean, constantly walking around to pick up any of the tape and paper used to "trim out" the house. They were very well organized and had great team work. One person worked ahead of the painters to cover anything that wasn't supposed to be painted with that color while the painters came behind and did the actual painting. The on-site supervisor walked around constantly and pointed out areas that a painter might have missed or didn't apply as thick of a coat of paint, and he did this at the end of the day and assigned his painters areas to cover any gaps first thing the next morning. They also did a very thorough job cleaning up, to include sweeping up the paint chips from the pressure washing, and carted away all of the trash instead of dumping it in to my garbage bin.

We received a lot of compliments on how nice the house looks. The team did a better job than the builder, including painting the flashing that the builder refused to do (and it drove me nuts with the flashes of silver metal glinting around my house the past few years).

Several months back we hired these guys to paint our great room and our difficult two story foyer. They sent one guy who did a fantastic job, worked quickly, and definitely followed my complex wishes. Another bonus is they have a la cart, which they added painting our stair skirt into the price. It was expensive, but worth the price. We got another quote from another company in Castle Rock that was more expensive and had less availability. Will be using them again in the future, I highly recommend!

We found CertaPro through Yelp. Compared them with 2 other companies in Castle Rock and these folks stood out well above the others. We had an entire interior 3,000 square foot house to paint that we just purchased.

Really nice to work with these professionals! Roberto was early to our appointment for the bid, easy to communicate with during the negotiations of the areas to be painted, and followed up! Karen from the local office kept us informed all the way through the 5 day process, very nice to work with the whole time!

I'm writing this review in case my official complaint (that I just sent through corporate) doesn't reach the right ears. Currently your crews painting at Element 47 by Windsor here in Denver.

Lets first talk about trash. Food, food wrappers, cans, bottles, half eaten mash potatoes chicken bowls (probably from KFC), giant trash balls of tape and plastic left over multiple days, etc. I'm getting tape stuck on my shoes every time I'm outside and so is my dog. Seriously? Clean up after yourself. If I can pick up after my dog uses the bathroom then picking up your red bull cans, Fanta bottles, and McDonalds shouldn't be a problem. This is just ridiculous. Also, which one of you decided to put McDonalds trash in the back of my truck? Because I want an apology from who ever did it and the one in charge for hiring them.

Second, when I asked one of the crew members who was in charge, they just ignored me at first. After I repeated myself, the kid in a bright green shirt and nose piercing looked at me like I was in his way. Once I finally got the name of the supervisor (Kevin) and which branch (Castle Rock), they quickly walked away and ignored me. I didn't quit get the number so I asked again. His response was a look of annoyance and irritation. Is it a problem that I know who they are? They are painting the building I live in. Unprofessional and incompetent are some choice words for this crew. Though I would like to use some other choice words, I find it would muddle the message a bit.

What's going on CertaPro Castle Rock? What's with all the disrespect, trash everywhere, and unprofessional behavior? Because from my perspective your failing at being a decent business. And if your initial thought is, "They are contractors, so it's their fault." It's not the right viewpoint. It should be, "It's my fault for hiring them." This crew is a direct reflection on the quality of your business, which is lacking in the extreme.

On a side note I haven't the need to hire painters yet, but in the future I will. CertaPro is off that list. And if anyone asks for advice about this subject, I will steer them away from CertaPro.

I sold my house in September and right before closing, the HOA required me to paint the radon mitigation pipe to match the house or the closing wouldn't happen. CertaPro was able to fit me in on short notice and got the job done quickly so that the closing could happen on time. They did an excellent job matching the color of the house and the painting was neat and well done. I really appreciate how they worked with me on my time schedule and how they did such a nice job!

We listed our house in Castle Rock, CO, for sale in December of 2017. I contacted CertaPro Castle Rock immediately as we desperately needed to have sun damaged areas of the house scraped, and then a fresh coat of paint applied. We were also dealing with the winter season in Colorado, so needed it done at a time the paint would adhere and not suffer the effects of the winter. CertaPro did the job immediately and did great work. I could not be happier and gladly recommend them to do your project and would use them again without hesitation. Certa Pro did an outstanding job of painting our house to include repair and replacement of worn out siding boards. Zach and his crew are the best. The quality, communication through out and finished product are unmatched. Would not go anywhere else for painting needs.

Their personal and professional services don't start or stop with the painters. I had the awful task of remodeling a very ugly kitchen but a complete rebuild wasn't possible so I called Certapro to see if they could help me decide a color and a course of action.

Allison from Certapro answered the phone and was just amazing. She was interested, helpful, accomodating and always made me laugh when I was stressing out. She assured me that they would find a working solution for my issue.

They GAVE me an hour free color consultation with a designer (GEM designs) who helped me pick the colors for the makeover of the cabinets and walls. Alison assured me they have a way to help finance it if I needed to but the price was so reasonable I didn't need it!

The crew came early, fully taped everything and did a flawless job in 1 day. I literally had a new kitchen in one day. And there was NO sign (save for the smell) that anyone was there. It was like right out of the makeover movies.

The owner Kevin came by to see the work! I mean, really, these people care and do everything they can to give a personal touch to the work. He asked if I had any questions or concerns and took very seriously anything I said (I had no concerns but he was prepared for them if I did.

CertaPro Castle Rock, CO a caring company with a remarkably talented crew. When I had new lights put into the living room ceiling they sent the crew that could plaster perfectly - which they did BEFORE painting.

I think a company, in order to provide a real service, has to do that thing that they do (whether it's painting, building, plumbing, etc) with precision and care. They have to cover your NERVES with TLC from the moment of the first phone call. So far they have painted all but 1000 sq ft of my 4300 sq ft home. I am hooked on their cleanliness and precision and of course Allison and Kevin couldn't be more genuine. Certapro's value is way more than paint, it's the complete package and really reasonable price for professional work done quickly and done right!
