I Think It’s Safe To Say Steve Sarkisian Is On The Hot Seat

Tonight the Washington Huskies shocked the college football world with an upset over the 17th ranked USC Trojans at the L.A. Coliseum. The loss all but eliminated the Trojans from the National Title hunt. Furthermore, the upset came most at the expense of former Washington head coach Steve Sarkisian, who has been involved in a whirlwind of off-the-field issues this season.

The USC fan base is already on edge following the home loss to Stanford earlier this season. As the Trojans find themselves in yet another disappointing season, mired in failed expectations and false hype, the fingers now point toward the head coach. Steve Sarkisian no longer has the luxury of patience from his superiors. Two loss seasons aren’t tolerated in the land of Troy. The drunken rant was only the beginning of Steve Sarkisian’s demise. A home loss to an unranked Washington could mean the end to the Sarkisian era in Los Angeles.
