The Masur Museum of Art is throwing a party Thursday – it’s pARTy 318 and the fun has been amped up with games and art in addition to beverages and music by DJ Beep Boop.

The party is 5:30-8:30 p.m., perfect for a stop after work. Parking is not a problem with free transportation to and from your vehicle, courtesy of Polaris Rangers provided by JPS Equipment.

For something to eat, food trucks from Debbie’s Snowballs and Faye’s Fat Burger and Grill will be on site (bring cash).

Tees of Ruston, EmJ Cruz & Ali Hijazi, Todd Maggio and Rick Sikes will be selling their amazing and reasonably priced artwork; fashionable T-shirts, stationary, landscapes, block prints, killer notepads, and posters.

“We will have giant Jenga, normal Jenga, Cornhole, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Sorry!, Pass the Pig, and some decks of cards laying around for your entertainment,” said director Evelyn Stewart. “It’s all fun stuff to do, come and act natural.”

The Masur Museum of Art is a division of the city of Monroe’s Department of Community Affairs. Exhibitions and educational programs are funded by the Twin City Art Foundation. Programs of the Masur Museum are supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council.
