Last night, Miley Cyrus hosted the season premiere of Saturday Night Live but it was Taylor Swift who stole the show. Ok, so the 1989 singer wasn't there (Hilary Clinton was though) but seeing how it was unofficially the summer of T.Swift and "Squad Goals" the show had to poke fun at it on their first night back.

In the digital short above, the show imagined up a world, in the not-so-distant future, where basically every single person has joined Taylor's squad. The power of Taylor's friend group had become so strong it took over the entire world. Can you actually imagine, though? “First it was the models, then the athletes,” Kenan Thompson says. “Then it was everybody. Police, fire department, Matt LeBlanc…" making fun of the time Taylor did in fact randomly bring the Friends actor out on her stage.

The sketch continued to joke how we all feel about the "Squad", the obvious joke being how so many of us want to be a part of the coveted friend group. Alas, even Aidy Bryant couldn't resist Taylor's sweetness and followed the light to what we imagine is Taylor's kitchen where Gigi, Karlie, and Selena are all hanging out. That's just a guess though. We'll be watching this video and the rest of Miley's performances from the night over and over again until we're invited to join.
