McArthur Burnett makes commitment #21 for the Florida Gators

The Florida Gators produced a lot of fireworks on the field against Ole Miss on Saturday those fireworks continued in recruiting as the Gators picked up commitment no. 21 on Saturday night.

Cornerback McArthur Burnett (6-1, 180, Pahokee, FL High) committed to the Florida Gators over offer from Miami and the Florida State Seminoles.

Burnett was in attendance at the Gators game on Saturday night and has been huge Gators lean since he visited Gainesville multiple times this summer.

At Pahokee Burnett plays both running back and cornerback but the Gators were recruiting him to play cornerback.

Burnett who was clocked at 4.41 in the forty yard dash was committed to Miami for several months before decommitting in June, due in large part to the effort that Florida Gators defensive backs coach Kirk Callahan did in recruiting him.

With Burnett now committed the Gators have six commits from the likes of Chauncey Gardner, Aaron Robinson C.J. McWilliams, Jayvaughn Myers, Quincy Lenton and Jeawon Taylor in the defensive backfield.

Burnett has 45 carries this season for 480 yards and five touchdowns while playing running back.
