Lovely scenic cottage.
Lovely scenic cottage. The key locker was a bit hard to manage but host was responsive immediately and got it sorted out. Winter pot holes in the roads but they were working on them. (I was there in April). Fantastic kitchen. Beds are on upper floor. Bathroom could use a fan or vent of some sort.

We were welcomed very warmly by Jacqui and Iain who themselves were excellent hosts during our stay. The location was excellent, the breakfast was superb and arranged in great detail. The accommodation was immaculate with modern conveniences and a view out our window of Skye which was magnificent. The owners could not have been more helpful or friendlier. We were fortunate enough to be able to add on the whisky tasting where we sampled many regional spirits we'd never tried before and had personalized recommendations for our interests. There is plenty to do in that corner of skye for a multi night stay, worth it to take your time rather than zooming through.

The easy drive to Neist Point Lighthouse at sunset was thrilling. We loved the view of Dunvegan Castle across the loch. And such beautiful, delicious breakfasts! Definitely get the porridge!
